How many appointments does your revenue goal actually need?
Quick answer: revenue goal divided by average job value gives you jobs needed. Jobs needed divided by close rate gives you appointments needed. Spread that across your weeks and you have a weekly booking target. Enter your numbers below and get all three.
Three divisions, top to bottom.
Set your revenue goal, your average job value, and your close rate. The calculator works top-down: goal to jobs, jobs to appointments, appointments to a weekly target and a monthly budget.
Your Inputs
The calculator works backward from your revenue goal to a weekly booking target.
Defaults to Verisk's 2025 average roof replacement value. Use your own blended average if you mix repairs and replacements.

Top-down, one division at a time.
This calculator runs four plain steps, each one feeding the next.
Step 1: Jobs needed
Revenue goal divided by average job value, rounded up. A $250,000 goal at a $17,631 average job value needs 15 jobs, since 14 jobs would fall $3,166 short.
Step 2: Appointments needed
Jobs needed divided by close rate, rounded up. At a 30% close rate, 15 jobs needs 50 booked appointments.
Step 3: Weekly target
Appointments needed divided by 4.33 weeks per month, rounded up. 50 appointments becomes a 12-per-week booking target.
Step 4: Monthly budget
Appointments needed multiplied by $199, VA Horizon's flat rate per booked appointment. 50 appointments is a $9,950 monthly appointment budget, before any one-time setup.
Jobs and appointments are always rounded up, never down. A calculation that lands on 14.2 jobs still requires 15 whole jobs to fully cover the goal, since a fractional job does not exist. The same logic applies to appointments and to the weekly target.
