Aurora Solar takes a different approach, folding aerial measurement into its broader design platform rather than selling it standalone. On-demand site models, satellite and aerial-derived, start at $9.99 and vary by how fast the turnaround is, available inside Aurora’s subscription tiers running from Basic at $159 a user a month up through Enterprise. That per-model price looks cheaper than EagleView’s at first glance, but it only applies to a team already paying for an Aurora seat in the first place, a distinction worth spelling out plainly rather than comparing the two numbers as if they were apples to apples.
Nearmap’s Opaque, Coverage-Tiered Subscription
Nearmap does not publish self-serve pricing anywhere, a real gap compared to the other two tools here. What is directly citable instead is a government procurement document: the North Central Texas Council of Governments’ Spatial Data Cooperative Program’s published Nearmap rate sheet, effective December 1, 2025 through November 30, 2026, shows real tiered annual subscription costs by population-coverage size. Orthophotography-only ranges from $3,800 a year for the smallest tier, population 1,000 to 3,000 on a 5-year term, up to $240,500 a year for the largest, population 750,000-plus on a 1-year term. Orthophotography plus obliques runs $4,350 to $283,812.50 a year across the same tiers. That is a government and GIS-cooperative procurement rate, not what a solar sales org specifically pays, but it establishes the real order of magnitude: Nearmap is priced as a coverage-area subscription running into the thousands to hundreds of thousands per year, not a per-report tool.

The honest comparison is not which tool is cheapest, it is which pricing model fits how often the report actually gets used. A team pulling the occasional one-off report has a clear, transparent number to work from at EagleView. A team already running Aurora for design work gets the cheapest marginal add-on inside a platform it is already paying for.
